There is a Tram Bus that passes every quarter of an hour on the Boulevard Jacques Duclos in the direction of Bayonne, Anglet, Biarritz...

You will find ticket machines in most bus shelters.

The nearest train station is Bayonne Train Station, 6.3 km from the accommodation

Motorway

The motorway is quickly accessible, which is rather very convenient to go to Spain or Bordeaux expressly.

Remember to check the tide times, some beaches are not accessible at high tide. www.surf-report.com or www.gosurf.com.

Important: In general, it is preferable to go swimming or surfing at mid-tide or low tide because at high tide there is a shore break (the wave hits directly on the sand). It is best to also respect the swimming areas.

Tarnos

"Metro Beach". The closest, of course. Huge sandy beach, supervised in high season.

"Plage de la digue". Less pretty and unsupervised ride

Ondres

2km away, supervised sandy beach. Restaurants, ice cream parlours etc...

Hossegor

Mythical surf spots. You can also swim there, of course. Large sandy beaches in the Landes.

"La Milady" Surf schools.

"The big beach" Ideal for swimming. Right in the city center. So you can go for a walk, eat...

Bidart-Guéthary

"Parlementia" Mythical longboard surfing spot of international renown. Restaurants and bars, surf schools.

"Grande plage de Bidart" Pleasant for swimming and surfing.

"Ceinitz" pretty but rocky beach. To be practiced only at high tide. Restaurants and bars, surf schools.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz

"Grand Hotel Beach" Beach more suitable for swimming with young children, the ocean is quieter. Club Mickey.

Saint Jean being a pretty city, it is also an opportunity to visit or have lunch or dinner.

Hendaye

"Plage d'Hendaye" Beach more suitable for swimming with young children, the ocean is calmer. Club Mickey.

Hendaye beach is covered at high tide on the entire central part but remains accessible at both ends.
